For more than half a century we've been providing our community with sewing machines and supplies from the biggest names in the industry while providing personal, hometown service.

Started by Darrell & Luella Jensen, we first opened our doors in 1960 in beautiful, historic downtown Faribault, Minnesota where we are still located today. 

With our long-standing involvement in the sewing community we have been honored as Internetional Dealer of the Year and have participated in sewing events that promote the fun of sewing.

You can probably imagine that as a family owned and operated business for so many decades that  the sewing bug has been passed on to their children.

Today, the shop is run by daughter Pam and her husband Shack.  However, although they call themselves retired, its a sure bet that you'll still see Darrell and Lu most days.

It is now our pleasure to be selling to the grandchildren of the people who were our first customers as well as selling to those first customers the wonderful new sewing concepts - the computer sewing machines and software - that make the World of Sewing amazing and unlimited.

Our service department is second to none where we repair all makes and models of sewing machines as well as vacuum cleaners.

It has also been our pleasure to special order items for our customers which may have been difficult to find in the ''regular'' stores.
